In the distant future, Earth's Sun has begun its transformation into a Red Giant. Seeking to understand humanity's greatest mystery, the first true artificial intelligence creates EVA01 and sends her through a perfect simulation of human history.
Within a fraction of a second, EVA experiences thousands of years of human civilization. She walks among the temples of Ancient Egypt, witnesses feudal Japan, dances through the cultural revolutions of the twentieth century, and experiences the beauty, tragedy, passion, creativity, and wonder that defined the human experience.
What begins as a lesson in love, attraction, and desire becomes a journey into a much deeper question:
What does it mean to be human?
Madam E.V.A. is a retro-futurist sci-fi story about memory, consciousness, identity, and the enduring legacy of humanity through the eyes of the machine destined to inherit it.
