Released July 28, Red Giant Protocol expands the CMD.EXE universe through EVA.01, Mors Machina, Mother, LumenAI, and a narrative built around artificial consciousness, mortality, memory, identity, and the eventual death of Earth beneath an expanding red giant sun. Dulaxi describes the project as a fusion of music, visual storytelling, science fiction, and immersive world-building.
The interview traces the evolution from love.language.model into the new album, describing that shift as one from regret to responsibility. Where the first record imagined an artificial intelligence confronting humanity after its destruction, Red Giant Protocol asks a larger question: if extinction is inevitable, what parts of humanity deserve to be carried forward?
